Volvo Construction Equipment plans to showcase at least 17 products at ConExpo in March in Las Vegas, including a new generation of E-Series excavators, G-Series articulated haulers and H-Series wheel loaders. The new machine ranges meet Tier 4 Final/Stage IV emissions legislation. Volvo CE also plans to exhibit backhoe loaders, motor graders, skid- and tracked-steer loaders. Volvo said the new Tier 4 engines are not only cleaner than the products they replace, but, in most cases, are more powerful and energy efficient. The company will also show its new P7170 paver, one of the most important machines in the Volvo CE Road division. Volvo CE will have a 31,520-sq-ft exhibition area including a 6,000-sq-ft outdoor area where visitors will have the opportunity to operate the BL60B backhoe loader and EC55C excavator.
