Volvo Trucks expects 25% sales growth
Volvo Trucks is expecting a 25 per cent growth in its India business this year compared with 2013. The company has sold over 630 units between January and October.

In the premium segment, the company has about 65 per cent market share. Since the launch of its Indian operations, Volvo Trucks has sold over 9,000 units in the country, according to Philippe Divry, President, Volvo India, and Senior Vice-President, Volvo Group.

Volvo Trucks has recently launched three new global platforms in India. The new range includes the flagship Volvo FH, voted ?International Truck of the Year 2014? in Europe, the Volvo FM and the Volvo FMX. The new range boasts of important improvements in all crucial areas: from productivity, fuel efficiency, safety to maximising uptime.
