Durability and power are key to the Volvo hydraulic breaker series. Built to withstand the tough conditions found in mining, quarrying and construction sites, the hydraulic breaker achieves high levels of output, productivity and consistency, while keeping maintenance costs low.The HB Series hydraulic breaker range comes in a choice of 13 operating weights, from 140 kg to 7 tonne, covering from almost the smallest to the largest Volvo excavators.Three models from this range were launched at Excon 2011.Additional models will be introduced over the coming months.

The HB Series provides a range of breaker models to suit a variety of applications from primary or secondary breaking to hard rock or soft material and rock removal, as well as demolition applications.The internal valve system is designed to increase efficiency compared to a breaker with an external valve, while the large capacity accumulator offers better capability for absorbing pressure fluctuations.HB Series hydraulic breakers have a large diameter through-bolt, resulting in lasting durability of the bolt itself and other components such as the pistons and cylinders.With the self-actuating greasing system, lubrication of tools, tool pins and bushes is automatic, thus providing smoother operation and greater breaker efficiency.
