We expect to strengthen ties with our existing customers
Nilesh Shah, Director, MESCO Springs

The industry seems to be gradually moving out of the sluggishness. The impetus of the new infrastructure projects seems to have come in at an opportune time and soon we shall see the much-needed vibrancy in this high potential industry. The next few quarters and in fact next few years will see a potentially high output from this industry. So, the scenario seems very positive!

Challenges
The key challenges faced by the industry are: Low volume growth, increasing input costs, increasing labour costs, unavailability of low cost finance for working capital, and inability of the SMEs to scale up operations rapidly.

Platform of opportunity
Excon has always been a great platform for inducing vibrancy in the CE market due to it's credible reputation and exchange of newer technologies. The participation of foreign exhibitors also adds to the opportunity doing business overseas. Overall, it is a fantastic networking opportunity to meet with the best heads of the industry

Showcasing innovations
We plan to forge strong alliances with our existing customers, many of whom are exhibitors in Excon 2017. We plan to showcase our key strengths of manufacturing consistency, value addition by flexibility and process reliability. We plan to showcase springs for excavators, undercarriages, vibrating screens and feeders, crushers and impactors.

Expectations
We expect to strengthen ties with our existing customers at the Expo. With the commencement of major infrastructure projects, we there would be multi fold opportunities to increase our share in this segment. Additionally, we expect to consolidate the gains secured over the past couple of years by garnering more sales orders by tapping new / potential customers. We also expect to make a foray into the overseas developing markets.

Key focus
Compared to last time, this edition is to have more focused participation, better reach amongst potential stakeholders / visitors, newer technologies on display, presence of key decision makers, and triggering vibrancy by catalytic reaction.
