Excon is returning after a gap of two years. How has been the experience at the event?
The pandemic has created great turmoil. We are in the midst of big revival of demand along with extreme increases in commodities including steel. Our experience with Excon until now has been very rewarding, and we hope to continue this association in years ahead.

What are the key products on display during Excon? Explain in detail?
We will be displaying a full range of hydraulic hose assemblies, adapters and tube assemblies.

How do you look at the market in India for your products?
Our products find application in various industries like construction equipment, automotive, farm equipment, machine tools, hydraulics, wind, etc. India is one of the fastest growing large economies and we hope to benefit from this.

What are the various challenges faced in the sector you are in?
Considering that most of our customers manufacture high value products, during a demand drop or slump, the first to get impacted are usually our customers and also they are the last to recover. Hence, any recessionary or downward trends are felt the longest in our industry.

Please share more information on the investment made in the Indian market in terms of the manufacturing facility, etc.
Uniflex has made substantial capacity expansion in the past two to three years. Investments have been made in three new manufacturing plants. We are now spread across seven manufacturing locations covering the length and breadth of the country.
