We unveiled our most powerful and advanced line-up to date
Deepak Garg, Vice Chairman & Managing Director, SANY India & South Asia

Excon 2025 is being positioned as a milestone for SANY India. What defines this showcase?
Excon represents a defining moment for SANY in India. We are unveiling our most powerful and advanced line-up so far, spanning excavation, mining, hoisting, road equipment and electric logistics. The focus is on speed of execution, sustainability and cost efficiency — all critical as India scales up infrastructure in line with the Viksit Bharat @2047 vision.

Electrification features prominently in your portfolio. How significant is this shift for the Indian market?
Electrification is no longer experimental; it is becoming application-driven and economically viable. Our electric excavators, loaders, forklifts and heavy-duty trucks are designed to deliver zero emissions with substantially lower operating costs. These solutions are particularly suited for mining, ports, waste management and industrial logistics, where predictable duty cycles and sustainability are increasingly important.

How is SANY ensuring these technologies remain relevant to Indian operating conditions?
Every product we showcased has been developed using real-world insights from Indian contractors, miners and fleet operators. Along with electrification and digital intelligence, we are investing heavily in localisation, R&D and manufacturing in India. The goal is to offer machines that deliver higher uptime, reliability and productivity while remaining practical and serviceable across Indian job sites.
