What are the new products you are showcasing at Excon 2025?
At Excon 2025, Ajax Engineering is showcasing a comprehensive range of next-generation solutions that highlight our progression from a product-led company to a true 360-degree solutions provider addressing the demands of the infrastructure ecosystem. With over 20 products on display, the pavilion reflects how Ajax has expanded beyond equipment manufacturing to deliver integrated offerings that bring mechanisation, automation, digital intelligence, and sustainability together in one unified platform. This shift captures how Ajax is evolving to meet the industry’s growing need for cohesive, end-to-end concreting solutions.
A key highlight is Ajax’s focus on developing new entry-level products that are accessible and affordable to all, designed to support the rising demand for concrete mechanisation across India. These solutions are being designed to make modern concreting more accessible for emerging contractors and evolving infrastructure needs.
Another major attraction is Ajax’s latest range of boom pumps, known for delivering precise, safe, and high-reach concrete placement through advanced control systems and reliable, operator-friendly design. With intelligent hydraulics and advanced control systems, these boom pumps enhance output consistency, fuel efficiency, and operator safety. They’re engineered for high productivity even in space-restricted project environments, marking an important step forward in automated concreting.
Ajax will also be showcasing its indigenously designed and developed 3D Concrete Printer, India’s first system capable of constructing full-scale structures at high speed. The technology ensures enhanced accuracy and precision, enabling intricate designs with improved structural integrity. Additionally, the product supports environmental sustainability by minimizing waste and incorporating eco-friendly materials, paving the way for greener, more efficient construction practices.
We will also exhibit our indigenously designed and manufactured Slip Form Paver, the country’s first slip-form paver to be exported globally across Russia and Africa. It is a specialised heavy concrete equipment used in large-scale infrastructure projects for precise and efficient concrete laying. It is suitable for various construction projects, including road and highway construction for smooth and durable concrete surfaces, as well as apron areas in airports, which connect runways to terminals and other facilities. The slip-form paver has a paving width range of 3.5 to 12 m, ensuring uniformity, strength, and durability in constructed surfaces.
The Ajax SLCM (Self-Loading Concrete Mixer) range, featuring multiple ARGO models, continues to remain a strong attraction for contractors across India and international markets. Known for versatility, productivity, and reliability, these mixers embody our “Make in India, Made for the World” commitment by combining indigenous engineering with global performance standards.
Complementing these hardware innovations, Ajax will present SmartBots powered by Concrete AI - an AI-driven digital platform designed specifically for the construction industry. SmartBots combine audio-based, voice-driven guidance with visual, video/avatar-led walkthroughs to support operators in troubleshooting, maintenance, calibration, and training activities. The platform offers multilingual assistance in English and Hindi, addressing the inclusivity needs of India’s diverse workforce, and is designed to expand into additional languages as required. By providing clear, real-time operational support, SmartBots help improve productivity and reduce downtime across job sites.
How are your machines addressing the demand for efficiency, safety, and sustainability in India’s infrastructure growth?
At Ajax Engineering, safety is not merely a priority, it is a foundational principle that guides every aspect of our innovation in concrete equipment manufacturing. We integrate advanced technologies, automation, and stringent design protocols to ensure operator well-being, minimise risks, and elevate overall worksite safety. Our product portfolio showcased at Excon reflects this commitment while addressing the growing demand for efficiency and sustainability in India’s infrastructure development.
Our Self-Loading Concrete Mixers (SLCMs) feature electronically controlled engines that automatically shift into a safe mode if any operational irregularities are detected, ensuring stable and controlled performance. Enhanced visibility features, including safety glass, offer improved clarity in confined work zones such as tunnels and underpasses. External drum and water pump control units further reduce unnecessary operator movement, minimising fatigue and lowering the risk of accidents.
Ajax Boom Pumps prioritise operator protection through wireless radio remote-control systems, enabling safe and precise machine operation from a distance, particularly beneficial in congested or hazardous site environments.
To eliminate blind spots in busy worksites, rear-view camera systems are integrated across our equipment range. We also offer cabins equipped with ROPS (Roll Over Protection Structure) and FOPS (Falling Object Protection Structure), providing protection against rollovers and falling debris. Safety interlocks, limit switches, and mechanical stoppers prevent unintended machine movement, ensuring a safer working environment for both the operator and site personnel.
Ajax leverages automation, AI, and IoT-based technologies to enhance equipment reliability, operational safety, and performance. Our Telematics (IoT) systems enable real-time monitoring, predictive maintenance, and remote diagnostics, reducing unplanned downtime and offering early alerts for potential issues. Digital displays in our machines provide real-time operational data, performance insights, and guidance, enabling operators to work with enhanced precision and safety.
Ajax’s electric-operated concrete pumps eliminate the risks associated with diesel emissions, particularly in enclosed spaces such as tunnels, making them a more sustainable and safer alternative. Our ground-breaking 3D Concrete Printer further enhances sustainability by improving construction precision, reducing material wastage, and significantly accelerating project timelines, setting new benchmarks for modern, eco-friendly construction practices.
Expanding our focus on road construction safety and efficiency, Ajax will also showcase its advanced Slip Form Paver at Excon. Designed for continuous, high-quality concrete paving, the machine incorporates automated steering and grade control systems that minimise human error and deliver superior surface finish and dimensional accuracy. High-efficiency vibrators ensure uniform compaction, while adjustable paving widths support a wide range of road construction applications. Its robust build enhances stability and operator protection, and the energy-efficient power system ensures lower emissions and reduced operational costs. Together, these features make the Slip Form Paver an ideal solution for safe, consistent, and sustainable road construction.
