Wiemann Autokrane has upgraded its fleet with the addition of a Demag AC 250-5 all-terrain crane from Terex. The new crane will primarily be used as an assist crane for erecting wind turbines. As such, the company specified a configuration featuring a long 33-metre fly jib and Terex?s IC-1 Plus control system. The control system calculates lifting capacities for every position of the crane?s boom subject to the slewing angle of the superstructure, allowing for maximum lifting capacities.
