Wirtgen successfully trains slipform paver operators
The first two batches of 28 candidates successfully completed their training from Wirtgen Group?s facility to become qualified slipform paver operators. The first training batch of 16 candidates, who are fresh ITI candidates, completed training last August and were immediately recruited by corporate majors like L&T and Gammon India. The second batch of 12 candidates also recently completed the training and have been recruited by Dilip Buildcon Ltd, which owns the largest fleet of Wirtgen slipform pavers. The operators are certified by application specialists from Wirtgen Germany as well as by the Infrastructure Equipment Skill Council (IESC).
The Wirtgen Group, market leaders in road construction as well as road rehabilitation technology, has sold more than 100 slipform pavers for various road projects across India.
