XCMG machinery assists in mega projects
XCMG?s XRS1050 rotary drilling rig has successfully completed pile foundation work in the construction of the Yangsigang Yangtze River Bridge in Wuhan, China, the longest double-deck suspension bridge, which boasts a span of 1,700 m and the  largest traffic capacity in the world. In addition, XCMG?s complete road machinery set, including road roller, paver and milling machine, was used in the construction of the G56 Hangzhou-Ruili Expressway on the world?s highest bridge, the Beipanjiang Bridge, built over a 565-m (1,854 ft) gorge, which was recently opened to automotive traffic.

XCMG?s XRS1050 rotary drilling rig was deployed to the pile foundation construction on the Yangsigang Yangtze River Bridge, a heavy-duty and difficult mission with high technical and technological requirements. The machine is able to drill a 106-m deep pile every hour while facing harsh challenges of super thick clay stratum and caisson sinking as well as complex geological conditions, flood warnings, and severe weather.

The XRS1050 rotary drilling rig adopts a specially - designed hydraulic retractable track chassis that promises stability and convenient transportation. Its Cummins engine can meet highland construction while reducing noise and emissions.
