Piyush Munot, India Managing Director, ZF India, holds a Bachelor?s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical) and a Master?s Degree in Mechanical Engineering and International Sales Management from the University of Applied Sciences, Konstanz, Germany.

After completing his training at DaimlerChrysler Research Centre in Ulm, Germany, he joined his family business at ZF Steering Gears (India) and Varsha Forgings, concerns which have been part of the automotive parts business for the last three years. In 2006, Munot established the wholly-owned operations of ZF Friedrichsfen AG in Pune, which is both a manufacturing and holding company. As the India Managing Director, he oversees all ZF Group activities spread across the country. Munot is also an elected and active member of the Executive Committee of Auto Component Manufacturers Association in India. On the current industry trends, Munot is of the view that India?s construction equipment industry is at a watershed in its evolution and will experience strong growth spurred by the nation?s economic development.
