Nitin Chalke is Managing Director India and South East Asia, Hydraulics Group, at Eaton Corporation, a $16- billion global premier diversified industrial manufacturer. In this role, Chalke is responsible for managing Eaton's overall hydraulics business in India and South East Asia. He is also responsible for sales, operations, strategic plans, growth initiatives and supply chain functions.

Prior to joining Eaton, Chalke was Director of field operations at Schindler Group for its elevator and escalator division. In that role, he had also led its sales and new installation divisions in India. He began his career with Ingersoll Rand India Ltd as a sales engineer.

Through his career, Chalke has held various leadership roles across organisations in production, operations, sales and marketing. He holds a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from Mumbai University in India, and a master's degree in marketing management from Narsee Monjee Institute of Management in Mumbai.

Chalke believes management style evolves from an individual's Intelligence Quotient, Emotional Quotient, and life's experiences.
