iRISE buys 6 Genie boom lifts
iRISE India, a leading mobile elevating work platform (MEWP) rental company in India, has purchased six units of Genie? SX?-180 boom lifts. This model is the tallest boom in the Indian market with a reach of 56.7 m.

Today, iRISE manages a fleet of more than 200 MEWPs with strategically located offices to serve the market demands. iRISE has its yard in Mumbai and is about to open another one in Odisha, in eastern India. The addition of Genie SX-180 booms comes at an important milestone as Genie celebrates its 15th anniversary in India.

?The Indian construction industry has been gaining momentum since 2015 due to the government initiatives to improve infrastructure in the country. iRISE is proud to be working with a highly reputable brand like Genie. It allows us to offer our customers the best engineering and cutting edge safety features with confidence. Being the first company to bring the height of the Genie SX-180 boom to the Indian market, this machine gives great advantage to our industrial customers and it was relatively easy for us to convince our customers to deploy the Genie SX-180 booms to their projects and back it with our outstanding service,? said Mohit Madan, Managing Director, iRISE India.

The Genie SX-180 boom is not only designed to be productive, but it is also made to be reliable and easy to transport. It has a lift capacity of 340 kg and a hydraulic platform with a 160? rotation.

It comes with the new Genie XChassis? axle design that extends and retracts to provide both stability on the job and a narrow profile for transport. It does not need over width or over heights permits when transported on a truck. ?The foreign construction companies place a lot of emphasis on safety. Korean, Japanese and European companies, for example, are already familiar with the safety and productivity advantage that Genie machines offer in their home countries. Working with iRISE has allowed Genie to rapidly extend our brand?s presence in the Indian market,? said Daniel Ho, Vice President, Asia, Terex AWP.
