Conservation of Fuel and Energy is a prime global initiative in all aspects of modern life. Equipment industry is equally committed to same and has responded by introducing new generation machines, equipped with never before design concepts, internal energy regeneration methods, fuel efficient aggregates using specialised lubricants and maintenance features, coupled with user friendly Man Machine Integrated Management systems which substantially reduce fuel consumption and ensure compliance to stringent environmental norms without compromising on safety or productivity or increasing the total life cycle costs.

Visitors to the INTERMAT Paris 2015 also witnessed a similar approach in large number of new generation equipments exhibited by many reputed European, US, Chinese and other manufacturers. Further, there was special focus on Concreting in Europe, during the show.

The lubricant industry is the latest entrant in the global drive to conserve fuel. Extending their research way beyond tradition, this industry has now introduced advanced synthetic lubricants with fuel saving properties. Having conducted extensive trials some lubricant manufacturers claim fuel savings to the extent of 30 percent, by use of their new products.

Eventually India is bound to follow suit. Time will tell when the new ideas will be imbibed in our industry culture which may happen due to increased consciousness, availability of funds to invest in new technologies or enactment of new legislations by the government or a combination of all.
