Italian terminal operator Spinelli S.r.l. (Spinelli) has ordered another Konecranes Gottwald mobile harbour crane for its terminal in the Port of Genoa. The Model 7 crane is a two-rope variant offering a maximum lifting capacity of 150 t and an outreach of up to 54 m.

Konecranes won another order for diesel-electric Konecranes Gottwald mobile harbour cranes from its long-term customer SEA-invest. It will add three Model 6 machines to its existing fleet of 36 cranes.

Portsmouth-based MMD Shipping Ltd (MMD) will further increase its handling rates with the help of a new Konecranes Gottwald Model 6 mobile harbour crane. The eco-efficient diesel-electric 125 t machine was put into operation at the end of May 2017. In the terminal, located on England?s south coast, the crane will predominantly handle reefer containers and palletised fruit.

Noatum Terminal Castellon, part of the leading Spanish port operator Noatum Maritime, has added another Konecranes Gottwald mobile harbour crane to its fleet. The Model 6 machine was put into operation in May in Castellon, where it handles mainly bulk and also a number of other cargo types.

Konecranes bags order for lift trucks from Napier Port

In order to further strengthen its important position on New Zealand?s North Island, Napier Port ordered six more cranes from Konecranes. In December 2017 six new lift trucks will be delivered to the terminal, situated in the rapidly growing Hawke?s Bay region.

Indonesian port operator to buy 8 Konecranes Gottwald Mobile Harbour Cranes

Konecranes has won its biggest order so far for Konecranes Gottwald mobile harbour cranes in the Asia-Pacific region. In the course of 2017 and at the beginning of 2018, the Java-based port operator PT Berlian Jasa Terminal Indonesia (PT BJTI) will add eight more cranes to its existing fleet of eight Konecranes Gottwald machines.
