Sumit Mukherjee, Chief Product & Programme Officer at Magma Fincorp, has over 23 years of experience in the retail finance business. He has been with Magma for seven years and has headed various functions in Credit and Sales. With an experience of more than 20 years in construction equipment sector, he has been the prime mover in setting up the business of used and tractor financing in Magma and taking it to significant volumes. These products give better returns and contributes to both the top line as well as the bottom line of the company. Prior to joining Magma, he was working with Citigroup in their retail asset business for eight years. In his stint with Citi, Mukherjee has worked across geographies and functions. He was part of the team which set up the financing in printing and medical equipment for Citi.
