Action Construction Equipment (ACE) bagged two major awards—‘Innovation of the Year 2021’, and Bestsellers in ‘Mobile Cranes’—during the 9th edition of the Equipment India Awards – a calendar event for all construction equipment industry stalwarts – held this year on October 22 at Four Seasons, Mumbai. The awards are organised by EQUIPMENT INDIA, the largest circulated construction equipment magazine in India. Chetan Gole, CEO, Forklifts Division, ACE, received the award on behalf of the company.
The 9th edition of Equipment India Awards was part of the 7th INDIA CONSTRUCTION FESTIVAL (ICF) organised by FIRST COUNSTRUCTION COUNCIL (FCC), an infrastructure think-tank set up in 2003, focused on providing latest updates on the construction industry in India, and dedicated to promoting its causes and needs. FCC provides a platform to promote the adoption of best practices and to be the torchbearer for all policy initiatives that are needed to enhance the importance and welfare of the construction industry and the industry’s unified voice.
ACE won the ‘Innovation of the Year 2021’ award for its multi-activity piling crane model FP210, which can do piling activity like (a) cage handling / lowering, (b) concreting (c) casing removal other than doing the normal loading / unloading and shifting of material at the site. This is first time that anyone has tried such innovation where piling activity is handled through a tyre mounted crane and we feel that this innovation will change the manner in which Piling is done in this country.
THE EQUIPMENT INDIA INNOVATION OF THE YEAR Award was instituted for the first time this year. Out of all the nominations received for the award, the jury handpicked this awardee from a list of nominees.
The jury picked ACE’s innovation in the Innovation of the Year category.
The 9th EQUIPMENT INDIA AWARDS 2021 was presented by Apollo Tyres; with Platinum Partner as Timken; Gold Partner - Larsen & Toubro; Silver Partner: Gulf Oil; Associate Partners - Action Construction Equipment, L&T Construction & Mining Machinery, JSW Steel, Sany India; Association Partner: Indian Construction Equipment Manufacturers' Association; and Knowledge Partner - Off-Highway Research.
