AJAX Engineering bags Green Factory of the Year award
AJAX Engineering won the Green Factory of the Year award during the 11th Equipment India Awards 2023, which was held on October 12, 2023, at Shangri-La Eros, New Delhi. Presented by BKT, the event saw the top performers as winners in the respective award categories and rewarded for their remarkable achievements.

Shubhabrata Saha, MD and CEO, AJAX Engineering, collected the award on behalf of the company. Giving away the award were Pratap Padode, Founder and President, and Sumit Banerjee, Board of Directors, First Construction Council.

Being an environmentally conscious company since its inception, the AJAX brand apart from its quality management system (QMS) ISO 9001:2015 has also been certified for its environmental management system (EMS) ISO 14001:2015. Over the last three decades, the need for energy efficiency, higher productivity, easy mobility, and flexibility has been the company’s focus to meet growing customer needs. AJAX works on a CAT Engine with biodiesel.

The company has adopted renewable energy sources to power its manufacturing facilities. AJAX has set up a rooftop solar PV plant of 599 KWP dedicated to generating electricity using solar energy on an average of 77,000 units per month. This results in reducing the carbon footprint by 654 tonne, which is equal to 9,814 trees being planted.
