Atlas Copco India appoints Alexander Pavlov as GM of Compressor Technique
Atlas Copco – a leader in compressors, vacuum solutions, generators, pumps, power tools and assembly systems, has announced the appointment of Alexander Pavlov as General Manager for its Compressor Technique customer center in India.
Alexander has been associated with the Atlas Copco group for almost 20 years. He is joining India's office from the UK and Ireland teams, where he has been driving the compressor business for the last five years in these regions. In this new role, he will lead the compressor business with a clear vision to enhance the growth and strengthen the reach of Atlas Copco Compressors in India across regions.

Alexander is a Belgian citizen. He graduated as a software engineer from St. Petersburg Marine Technical University and then worked for Alcatel group before joining Atlas Copco Compressor Technique in Antwerp in 2003. He held the positions of Information Systems Project Manager and Product Marketing Manager. From 2011-2015, he worked as Regional Business Line Manager for Southeast Europe, based in Greece, followed by an assignment as Country Manager, Ireland, and as General Manager, UK and Ireland.
In his leisure time, Alexander dedicates most of his time to his family, with a wife and three sons aged between 10 and 23. He follows many sports, particularly football, golf, ice hockey and volleyball. In addition, he likes history, classical rock music, and playing guitar in his spare time.
