Atlas Copco pledges Rs 4 crore to combat Covid-19
Atlas Copco - a leader in compressors, vacuum solutions, generators, pumps, power tools and assembly systems, has made a commitment to contribute Rs 4 crores to combat the Covid-19 crisis. As part of its corporate social responsibility initiatives, the company has donated 50 ventilators to Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) and 100 oxygen concentrators to district government hospitals in Maharashtra.
In yet another initiative, Atlas Copco will also support 5000 police personnel of Pune district to combat second wave of Covid-19 by distributing immunity boosting medicines, N95 masks, mini portable fogging machines, handheld UV scanners, Ionize air purifiers, thermo flasks, hand sanitizers. In addition to this, a large amount of donation of medical instruments, surgical materials and medicines to a hospital in Miraj has been extended.
