BE220G is an upgraded version of BEML?s 22 tonne class hydraulic excavator packaged with positive control hydraulics for smooth combined operation which enhances operator comfort and productivity. Control valve is equipped with extra spool for operation of optional attachments like rock breaker or clam shell bucket. The upper deck of this excavator is modified by reversing the engine and positioning the hydraulic tank on the RH side to reduce the suction pressure loss. With this configuration, serviceability is improved and the compartment temperature is reduced. Aesthetically designed engine hood is divided into to two parts, which gives easy access to engine filters, FIP etc. The machine is fitted with new compact swing and travel drive with planetary reduction, built in counter balance valve, anti-shock valve and parking brake. With this feature, swing operation is very smooth, and is jerk- and drift-free resulting in improved productivity.

BE220G is configured with ergonomically designed cabin with matched grill to ensure excellent all-round visibility. The control and display panel have been upgraded to state of the art Murphy digital display with data storage and diagnostics capabilities. This machine is specially suitable for working in rough conditions and is exceptionally stable. It is fitted with improved AC for ensuring comfortable climate for operator under hot and humid operating conditions. It can be configured with Auto Lub and Auto fire suppression systems depending on customer needs.

BE220G is fitted with fuel efficient BEML engine delivering 110KW @2,000 rpm and is offered with 1 cu m standard bucket. Bucket sizes from 0.4 cu m to 1.2 cu m are available with different arm-boom combinations. Rock breaker and clamp shell bucket options are also available.
