Wirtgen India through its ‘WE CARE’ initiative has supported the fight for Covid-19 through various CSR initiatives. The organisation along with a substantial contribution by the employees has donated Rs three million to the PM CARES fund. Wirtgen India also donated CSR funds to the NGO United Ways for supporting ground level activities which included supplying healthcare equipment, cooked meals, groceries and essentials to the stranded and the affected people. Distribution of essential kits to the migrant labourers as well as supply of PPE kits to the local police and the medical staff were done and will be continued as required.
