VG Sakthikumar has been associated with Schwing Stetter since its inception in India in 1998, and has played a major part in its growth story. He has over two decades of industry experience in the ready-mix concrete business. Sakthikumar took charge as Chief Operating Officer in 2006, and since then he has made significant contributions to building the brand. Currently the Whole Time Director - Operations of Schwing Stetter India, he also handles the SAARC and ASEAN nations from India.

Sakthikumar started his prolific career with Greaves Cotton, heading the sales operation for the Southern region. Sakthikumar is also close to industry activities. He is the convener of the membership panel of Indian Construction Equipment Manufacturers? Association (ICEMA) and also Chairman of Mechanization Community of Builders Association of India (BAI).
