ElectroMech Material Handling Systems India Pvt Ltd achieved a new milestone by manufacturing the 5,000th crane - 150 MT gantry crane. The landmark crane was handed over to Gamesa Renewable Energy Pvt Ltd. Tushar Mehendale, Managing Director, ElectroMech along with N Ravichandran, Executive Vice President, Gamesa unveiled the gantry grane at the handing over ceremony.

After in-depth study of material handling needs of Gamesa, ElectroMech customised an outdoor DG gantry crane with a unique feature of 360 degree rotating motorised hook that is suitable to withstand extreme climatic conditions.

Gamesa?s order coincided with ElectroMech achieving the landmark of 5,000th crane manufactured its Pune facility. The 150 tonne capacity gantry crane offers fine control mechanisms and has a span of around 20 m and height of lift as 19 m.
