Franna’s Largest Pick-and-Carry Crane!
Franna has launched its most powerful pick-and-carry crane for the North American market—the AT44 US. Powered by a 308-hp Mercedes diesel engine, the crane delivers a 44-tonne lifting capacity at a 3-foot 7-inch radius and a 62-foot maximum hook height.

Its three-axle design allows the crane to self-transport additional counterweight, enhancing mobility between job sites. Operators can raise the third axle while turning, reducing the turning radius for improved manoeuvrability. The crane’s articulated steering also allows precise load positioning even while stationary, removing the need for outriggers and providing efficiency in restricted spaces.

The full-width isolated cabin meets ASME B30.5 standards and is designed to maximise visibility and operator comfort, supported by hydro-pneumatic suspension for smooth handling. The crane’s 65-foot high-strength boom has been engineered for durability and easy maintenance, while patented safety technologies enhance operational awareness.

Franna’s Dynamic Load Moment Indicator (LMI) with Safety Radar continuously calculates the rated lifting capacity based on boom configuration, chassis articulation, pitch and roll, giving operators accurate real-time data. The Safety Radar also provides a visual display of capacity across the entire working zone, ensuring optimal safety and performance on uneven terrain.
