High-performance DOORS
High-speed doors are faster versions of conventional door systems such as roller doors, sectional door, PVC fabric door or roller shutter. In order to operate at speed, the design of the high-speed door is critical to ensure longevity of parts, most efficient energy consumption and reliability in high usage.

High-speed doors are typically designed to integrate with the traffic movements within manufacturing units, warehouses, logistics plants etc, be it pedestrian traffic, forklifts, vehicles or automated conveyors. For this reason, it is critical to scope the design and selection of the high-speed door and ancillary activation systems to best match the traffic characteristics, and avoid costly collisions. A key requirement is that they open faster and close faster as well.

High-performance doors
High-performance doors are automatic doors used for fast access between internal and external areas of buildings. Prime high-performance doors by Gandhi Automations are designed and factory-made with German collaboration using state-of-the-art and resourceful engineering technology for frequent use in high traffic areas with opening speed up to 2.5 m per sec. The high opening speed reduces time taken in movement of material, thus hastening the logistics process. Rapid doors are manufactured and installed keeping in mind international standards.

Strong wind resistance
The PVC fabric is reinforced with metallic bars put into the horizontal compartments of the doors, to contrast wind force, above all in the case of doors with big dimensions. These reinforcements function also as protection for workers and goods in case of breaking due to wrong or accidental maneuverings. The speed of the vertical folding PVC fabric, and the opening and closing automatism allow a continuous and quick use of the passage, avoiding expensive thermal exchanges between inside and outside.

Where are these doors used?
A wide range of prime high-speed doors are available for various operations, including areas with special requirements for temperature control, hygiene, storage and handling of frozen foods. Atex rapid doors are needed in explosion proof areas, while deep freezer automatic roll-up doors are needed in cold storages, warehousing, loading bays and on conveyor systems. Prime Reset features a special advanced self-repairing system.

Overcoming challenges
High-speed doors can play an important role in meeting all the energy and hygiene control objectives of an organisation without compromising productivity or ease of access.

A few applications include: Warehouse load-in and load-out doors; food production doorways; cool rooms and freezers; logistics and transport; grain, milling industries; car washes; and pharmaceutical.

As an architectural feature, high-speed doors can be made to match the aesthetic demands of the building. Managers will install high-speed doors for security purposes, or to insulate heat and noise.

High-speed doors manufactured by Gandhi Automations are fast, durable, save energy, decrease total operational costs, restructure traffic flow and improve logistics. We have designed our rapid doors to be safe, dependable and maintenance-free, conferring to all international standards.

Gandhi Automations offers a variety of high-speed doors across a range of industries.
