VG Sakthikumar outlines the unique features of the new innovative concrete mixing plant from Schwing Stetter.
Schwing Stetter India Pvt Ltd was started in June 1998. Manufacturing concrete equipment in India through our ?Make in India? campaign has always been our forte. Schwing Stetter India is a 100 per cent subsidiary of Schwing Group of companies, a ?850-million German concrete machinery manufacturer and a part of Schwing-XCMG group. Schwing Stetter India is a pioneer in manufacturing equipment for concrete preparation, placement, transportation and recycling.

Concrete mixers, concrete batching plants, concrete pumps, concrete placer boom, mobile concrete conveyors, shotcreting machines, recycling plants, water chilling plants and weighbridges are our well-established products in the market for the past 15 years. Self-loading mixers, tower cranes, wheel loaders, motor graders, and sludge pumps are our various newer range of equipment that has been launched recently. We cater to infrastructure developers and also act as an OEM supplier to various cement companies who offer ready mix concrete. Schwing Stetter has its manufacturing units in 11 countries including Germany, Austria, USA, Brazil, Russia, China, Ostrava and India; sales and service centres in France, Netherlands, Austria and Sweden as well as representations in more than 145 countries worldwide. Schwing Stetter India has 26 sales offices, 9 service centres, and 18 spares centres. We have more than 250 service engineers who strengthen us. In addition, we have a project department and training centre which was recently accredited and certified the first ever training centre to certify pump operators under the Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana in India, which strengthen us even more.

Concrete mixing plant
Customer satisfaction is the demand driver for our product line. Customers are expecting the batching plant to produce high quality concrete consistently without any breakdown. So, the technologies should be meeting this primary criterion in addressing customer expectations. Once the plant is designed to give maximum output per batch and also uses minimum power to give a homogenous mix in a short time; it helps us to save so much on power. So, our Stetter plants are designed to meet these standards whereas many plants available in the market do not consider the cost of production as the main criteria.

M30Z batching plant
Customers are looking for newer innovations to help them cut costs. Schwing Stetter India offers the customer an innovative 30 m3 batching plant that will save them 15 per cent on the total installation cost in comparison to a typical 30 m3 batching plant, and further these are the advantages customers receive, thanks to the modular system of the Stetter mobile mixing plant:

Our brand new M30Z Batching plant is designed from the ground at its Irungattukottai plant, the new model is equipped with a pan mixer and can produce a concrete output of 30 m3/hr. The concrete discharge height is 4 m and can be operated at a voltage of 415V. Control unit for this batching plant is MCI 70 version 3.1.

It also does not require a ramp or conveyor to feed the concrete into the bins. The total installation altogether requires batching plant+civil work+conveyor+loader, not to forget the power and water connections. Disruptive innovation is what we have done here. We are giving the customer the choice of eliminating the foundation and offering one and only complete concreting solution.

Optional mounting of additional weighers, like water and ice weighers are also provided. The ice weigher is used for the weighing of flake ice. At the bottom, the side walls are sloped outwards which ensures the complete discharge of the container.

The plant is delivered to the construction site on a semi-trailer. Only a mobile crane is sufficient for the erection. It?s easy to erect, dismantle and transport because it?s one unit on the whole.

In the innovative M30Z batching plant, there is no foundation required. Aggregate feeding can be done without a ramp or feeding belt conveyor. The plant comes with a low feeding height and skid (no foundation required). The customers are able to save 15 per cent from the total installation costs that will be incurred making the plant cost effective.
