JCB India supports Kerala with Rs 10 million relief package
JCB India Limited made an employee contribution of Rs 2.8 million for relief and rebuilding work in Kerala. The cheque made in favour of the Kerala Chief Minister?s Distress Relief Fund was handed over to EP Jayarajan, Minister for Industries and Sports, Kerala by the JCB India team. This is in addition to the 30 JCB machines which have already been deployed in the districts of Palakkad, Malappuram, Ernakulam and Alappuzha and are helping the local administration with the rebuilding of public infrastructure.
JCB India has always been at the forefront in supporting the local administration and communities during natural calamities. With this employee contribution and the deployment of 30 JCB machines, JCB India is committed to the rebuilding efforts in Kerala with a net contribution of over Rs 10 million.
