JSPL dispatches India?s longest ever rails to DFCCIL
Jindal Steel and Power Ltd (JSPL) flagged off India?s longest ever rails measuring 260 m to the Dedicated Freight Corridor Corporation of India Ltd (DFCCIL). The 260 m long rails will be used for construction of the eastern corridor of the landmark 350 km dedicated freight railway network in India. Naveen Jindal, Chairman, JSPL, flagged off the specially manufactured rake (goods train) from the company?s steel plant at Raigarh, Chattisgarh.
The company recently shipped its first mega order to DFCCIL. Two rakes laden with 1,880 tonne of rails of 87 m length have already been despatched for construction of the eastern corridor of the DFCCI in August 2015.
