Mtandt announced theappointment of Pradeep Agarwal as the Group?s Managing Director and member ofthe Executive Board effective from September 22, 2017. Agarwal brings more than33 years of relevant industry experience to his new role and having previouslyserved as Associate Director in Mtandt Group. He replaces Rakesh Modi who isshifted as the non-executive chairman of the board. Modi succeeds his father, LateRajkumar Modi, Founder and Chairman who started the company in 1974.

Rakesh Modi?s visionand leadership drove Mtandt?s transformation from a tools and tackles shop toone of India?s largest and most diversified company. In 2017, Mtandt groupscaled its manufacturing facility seven time and become world?s largest andmost cost-effective producer of aluminium scaffolding systems. Under theguidance of Agarwal, Mtandt is now entering into specialised geo technologysolutions and soon will start manufacturing of Neoweb and Neoloy geocells alongwith temporary access mats Portadeck, according to the company.
