SANY, one of the largest global manufacturing companies of construction equipment, announced the appointment of Mahesh Tripathi as the Vice President of Supply Chain Management & Operations in India. He will be responsible for developing and executing strategies for effective management of SANY India?s supply chain and operations. Tripathi brings with him close to two decades of experience in supply chain practices, policies and regulations, designing supply chain models, setting up QA processes for vendors, material cost reduction, sales and marketing, and so on. Prior to joining SANY Heavy Industries India, Tripathi held key leadership positions at Tata Hitachi Construction Machinery and Tata Motors. In his last assignment, he worked as a General Manager for Tata Hitachi Construction Machinery. A Mechanical Engineer from IIT (Roorkee), Tripathi also holds an Executive Diploma in Business Management from XLRI, Jamshedpur.
