The Marinis always would more than meet the existing and the future environmental norms
Blesson Varghese, Managing Director, Marini India.
Our new products are designed to meet the new and the next generation demands on the roads. Energy and sustainable development along with evolution readiness are the key features in our product technology and we intend to take them to the next level in our new products, says Blesson Varghese, Managing Director, Marini India. Excerpts from the interview...

What are the key market trends in asphalt plants?
Professionals in the market have clearly understood the need for productivity, performance and profitability. These are basic needs and nothing else is more important, which has been quite clearly demonstrated by Marini users in India. As a key trendsetter in the market we would like to take these expectations to the next level by bringing in some of the latest sustainable technology in to India. We will not survive without a sense of sustainability.

What is the guaranteed level of compliance to the new environmental norms?
At Marini, we do not develop low grade - low tech products to produce just black the for third world markets. We believe that success can come only when things are done right and India is no less scared than any country in the world. Since the last around 20 years, each product that we have supplied in India, were always meeting top notch prevalent EU norms, there was no compromise. Every plant model like Roadstars, UltiMAP, MAC, MAP etc. were products which were produced for the EU markets, and these models have been successful and proven in advanced countries before their introduction in India. This explains, why when a plant was to be installed in Delhi a few years back, the only one that could meet the CPCB norms was a Marini.

What are the new features in your latest models?
The new breed of plants from Marini have been highly appreciated for their sustainability. In India, mix produced on the Marini delivers approx 30 per cent higher profits to its users, while increasing pavement performance. We are now bringing in some patented technology to help Marini users, produce even more profitable mixes, since DuraRAP, Profimix and other technologies have been very highly appreciated in the market. We see great interest in these technologies, since our customers now have seen the performance of our technologies. Being the sector leader in sustainable development, we look forward to benefit the nation and the customers, with some fantastic technology, which are on the anvil.

Marini?s technological leadership is quite distinct and miles ahead of existing plant technology in India. Marini plants which are over 10 years old are much advanced technically than the plants which are now being supplied as the latest technology in the market. For eg. 30-40 per cent RAP processing, is easily achieved on a decade old Marini, this is simply unheard of in the Indian market, even with the recently supplied plants.

Our new products are designed to meet the new and the next generation demands on the roads.

The new Marini?s have gone miles ahead in terms of further reduction of operating cost for its users. Marini Endurance certified parts uses specially developed modern metallurgy to deliver component life far beyond the top class. Marini plants have the lowest operating costs and the highest reliability in the market, we are very excited to see our customers even more surprised and pleased with the Marini Endurance systems.
