The focus of this year's development was in making the software easy to adopt by many types of users by improving its robust quality, usability, in-product guidance, localization and product structure.

Tekla Structural Designer 2021 introduces the "Tekla design-to-detail workflow" for more efficient reinforced cast-in-place concrete modeling as well as a new Carbon Calculator functionality for calculating, reviewing and reporting embodied carbon.

Tekla Tedds 2021 continues to evolve while remaining easy-to-use for eliminating repetitive hand calculations through dependable, accurate, multi-material element design. The library expands in 2021 to include steel to concrete connection design, steel masonry design, updates to foundation analysis & design, and many more!

Tekla PowerFab 2021 updates include new ways to filter and organize data and also provide a new visual dashboard for reporting. Continued enhancements in machinery instructions are also included as well as extended integration to Viewpoint Vista and Viewpoint Spectrum construction ERP packages, which now include purchasing and inventory information.
