Electrification will be a key area of focus

What are the key products and solutions you are showcasing at EXCON 2025?
We have introduced several additions across machines and attachments. Key highlights include the ZAXIS 89, formally unveiled at the show, along with an expanded range of Magnum rock breakers and multiple attachments.
We are also showcasing two electric machines—one battery-powered and one cable-operated—along with live demonstrations. Attachments such as tilt couplers, augers, rock breakers and specialised solutions for solar panel lifting are being demonstrated to highlight application flexibility across sectors.
How do you see construction equipment demand evolving over the next 12–18 months?
Demand has remained largely flat over the past year, with a slowdown in national highway construction and slower contract awards. However, historically the industry sees a pickup in the second half of the year, and we expect investment momentum to return.
Key segments such as roads, mining and affordable housing are likely to drive recovery as project execution accelerates.
What strategic shifts do you foresee in response to regulatory and market changes?
Upcoming regulatory changes around quality standards, emissions, noise and safety will significantly influence product design and costs. As these norms tighten, equipment prices may increase, making efficiency, durability and lifecycle value more critical for customers.
Manufacturers will need to balance compliance with productivity, ensuring customers can recover higher acquisition costs through improved performance and longer equipment life.
How will product portfolios evolve in terms of technology and safety?
Electrification will be a key area of focus, with more equipment expected to transition towards electric power over time. In parallel, safety and operator comfort standards are becoming increasingly stringent, particularly in mining applications.
As regulatory expectations expand, similar safety requirements could extend across other construction segments, influencing future equipment specifications and development priorities.
