Bharatmala Pariyojna Phase-I Nitin Gadkari, the Minister of Road Transport and Highways, announced that under Bharatmala Pariyojna Phase-I, out of the road works of 568 km costing Rs 9,906 crore were awarded in Telangana, works covering a length of about 336 km have been completed. Overall, works covering 2,178 km were envisaged for development under Bharatmala Pariyojana Phase-I in Telangana for approximately Rs 54,485 crore. The Union Minister informed that all projects under the Bharatmala Pariyojana Phase-I, including those in Telangana, are expected to be finished by 2026-27. Gadkari said that usually DPRs take nearly 12 to 18 months.
