Poclain manufactures high torque low speed hydraulic motors from 172 cc/rev (18 KW ) to 30,000 cc/rev (500 KW). Its Pondicherry factory currently manufacturers motors from 172 cc/rev to 820 cc/rev (29 KW). Poclain Pondicherry is gearing up to manufacture from the current 70,000 motors per year to 1,20,000 motors by 2017. A new assembly line is being built now and plans to manufacture from MS02 frame size (172 cc/rev) to MS18 (2,099 cc/rev, 70 KW). The motors are with options like male spline shaft, wheel flanged, pinion shafts etc. The motors can work at 450 bar pressure. The motors can have a 2 speed option too.

These motors are used in various applications, some of them are: skid steers; wheel loaders; compactors; motor graders; agricultural machinery like combined harvesters, potato harvesters; industiral sweepers; swing drive for small excavators; other construction and industraial applications like shredders etc; and on-road applications. For on-road applications, Poclain manufactures a product called ?AddiDrive?. This consists of a PWe96 pump, 2 x MF08 hydraulic motors, hydraulic axles, ECU, valves and the software. The two MF08 motors provide the additional traction required on the front wheels when required. It can be mounted on the rear wheels also. The driver just pushes the button or joystick to make the truck as the hydraulically assisted. Poclain manufactures pumps from 7 cc to 96 cc. The PWe96 pump can work at 450 bar continuous pressure. It has electronic 12V or 24 V with feedback sensors and control pressure cut off. Poclain also manfuactures a wide range of valves including directional control valves, flow dividers, exchange valves, anti-slipping valves, etc.
