Zoomlion expands localisation strategy across Europe
Zoomlion Heavy Industry Science & Technology Co. Ltd has announced plans to strengthen its localisation strategy in Europe by expanding its sales, manufacturing, service, talent development and digital capabilities across the region.
The company outlined its roadmap during a partner meeting held at its German factory, followed by a visit to its German subsidiary m-tec. The meeting brought together customers and partners from multiple European markets to discuss product development, services and local operations.
European partners acknowledged improvements in Zoomlion’s product quality and technology capabilities while highlighting the need for enhanced service support, spare parts availability and a wider product portfolio. Zoomlion Chairman and CEO Zhan Chunxin reaffirmed the company’s long-term commitment to the European market and its focus on strengthening local capabilities.
As part of its strategy, Zoomlion plans to expand its European spare parts and service networks to improve response times and equipment support. The company will also enhance its customer-facing digital service platform, enabling automated service task allocation and tracking while providing easier access to equipment, spare parts and service information.
During his visit to m-tec’s production and R&D facilities in Germany, Zhan reviewed the subsidiary’s technology development initiatives, including research and applications related to 3D printing. He highlighted the importance of closer collaboration between Zoomlion and m-tec in technology, product development and market expansion.
Since becoming part of Zoomlion in 2014, m-tec has continued to build on its expertise in dry-mix mortar machinery and building materials, contributing to the company’s European growth strategy.
Zoomlion has established a regional footprint across Europe with sales, service, financing and manufacturing operations supported by facilities including CIFA in Italy, m-tec, WILBERT and RABE in Germany, and an aerial work platform factory in Hungary.
The company aims to combine global resources with local expertise to improve customer support and drive long-term growth in the European construction equipment market.
