Marini launched its smart range of MACs earlier this year. Now being manufactured at its modern manufacturing facility in India, these plants are all set to create historic benchmarks and change the scenario in the Indian asphalt production industry.

Marini launched its factory in India with the vision to become a trendsetter and change the way asphalt is produced in the country. Our customers were therefore thrilled to see us invest in a world-class manufacturing facility that could roll out only high-quality products.

However, a facility alone cannot guarantee leadership status unless it is backed up by products that perform at the highest level suited to Indian conditions. Therefore, instead of taking the easy route of replicating the available designs from Europe, we went the harder route of designing a plant specific to Indian customer needs, right from scratch.

One more reason for us to invest in India had to do with the mindset of some of the western manufacturers who reckon India as a low tech, price-conscious market. However, Marini sees the Indian market as one of the most technically aware and demanding markets. Hence, Marini didn?t bring any economic, low-tech model to India, do some cosmetic changes and launch it in the market. On the contrary, Marini India built the smartest ever plant in its history and launched it in India.

Smart plants are all about smart features that one would like in an asphalt plant. Here?s a glimpse of some of the smart features to go with the plant. 
 
Smart set-up
Being aware of the market and the skills available on jobsite, in addition to the cumbersome process of hiring a crane for setting up a plant, MAC SMART is designed to bring smiles to a customer?s face with its easy set-up modules. We have reduced assembly time by almost 75 per cent. With modular foldable designs, latch-on set-up modes and bereft of any ducts, the smart plants are breaking every known record for quick set up.
 
Smart transferability
The new MAC SMARTs can be found on some of the most difficult terrains like Himachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, etc., thanks to their dimensioning to Indian road conditions and smart transferability features. The plant can be erected with minimum space available and zero civil foundations.
 
Smart recycling
Recycling starts at a minimum 35 per cent on MAC SMARTs. This would enable every small-time entrepreneur to also go green and produce recycled mixes at very low production and implementation costs. The plants can reach up to 50 per cent recycling, with the lowest investment, a feature never thought possible on this kind of asphalt plants.

Smart efficiency
To be smart, you must be efficient. MAC SMART range of plants is on a path-breaking spree by achieving even higher efficiency levels on the forever famous MACs. Thanks to its filter-burner-dryer combination, the plant incorporates the latest waste heat recovery systems, thereby reducing energy consumption levels to deliver the most economically produced high quality mixes.

Smart equipment are never out of craze! Smart evolution runs through the DNA of MAC SMART. Though one may start with a basic configuration on the plant, the equipment is already inbuilt with features that outfox any market change or demand, thanks to the smartly designed dryer, burner, and mixer unit along with the smart controls system.
