ACE unveils India's first electric mobile crane
India’s first indigenously developed fully electric mobile crane has been launched by ACE at bauma CONEXPO 2023. The occasion was graced by Nitin Gadkari, Minister of Road Transport and Highways of India, amongst a gathering of industry leaders, customers, business partners and company delegates to address the emerging needs and technology requirements with the backdrop of reducing carbon footprint of our customers.

This launch marks India’s first indigenously developed 100% electric construction equipment and propels India on the global platform of technological advancements. ACE F150-ev 4X4 has been specifically designed to suit both road travel and pick-n-carry use. As part of the initiative to introduce sustainable technologies; the electric crane has been specially designed to deliver optimum power and productivity while maintaining the versatility of the equipment for Indian conditions. With four-wheel drive and required traction, this electric crane is suitable for rough terrain operations and is equipped with unparalleled safety features with best–in–class durability and stability.

ACE F150-ev 4X4 is a zero-emission machine with lifting capacity of 15 tonne and the crane delivers best possible combination of green credentials, customer benefits and efficiency.

Further, the company has also showcased India’s biggest indigenously designed and developed crawler crane with a lifting capacity of 180 tonne. The crawler crane is equipped with anti-toppling features that provide enhanced safety on-site and cutting-edge technology that makes it superior to conventional machines. The superstructure, boom and chassis of this crane have been made from high structural strength material for better endurance.

The launch of this high-capacity indigenous crane marks the entry of our country into the high-tonnage domain and gives access to new markets with an opportunity to further deepen our presence both domestically as well as internationally.

Showcasing the engineering strength and manufacturing capabilities of the country, the company has also launched India’s first range of locally produced self-propelled aerial work platforms (AWP). The company has introduced both articulated and straight boom access platforms to cater to Indian as well as Export markets. These compact and robust build indigenous machines are designed to provide access solutions at heights and come fitted with state-of-the-art safety features to optimise working safely at heights.

The company has also launched a range of telehandlers which have primarily been developed keeping in mind the export potential alongwith domestic usage and the 35 tonne capacity 4x4 pick and carry crane is the largest pick and carry crane to be introduced by ACE, who is also the world’s largest producer of pick and carry cranes.

Participating in bauma ConExpo 2023 in Greater Noida, the company has also exhibited its latest range of Cranes, Construction Equipment, Material Handling and Road Construction machinery. The company’s product portfolio leverages deep customer understanding and integrate it with the technological and manufacturing capabilities of the company to deliver products that are designed to meet end users' performance expectations.

Further, strengthening the "Make in India" initiative of our government, the company is also in process of expanding its manufacturing capacities especially in the bigger crane segment and is expected to operationalise its new facility based in Faridabad in the 1st Quarter of the next year. The Cranes and the Construction Equipment sector in the Country has been on an upswing in the current financial year and is expected to scale the pre-pandemic peak this financial year on the back of robust demand spurred by increased government spending on infrastructure projects coupled with manufacturing sector capex and growth plans.
