Awarding Excellence in Cement

The 9th Indian Cement Review Awards 2025 and the Multilogistix Awards 2025, held concurrently with the 15th Edition of Cement Expo and Conference, celebrated the excellence across the cement and logistics sectors. Dr Raghavpat Singhania, Madhavkrishna Singhania and Dr Shailendra Chouksey bag top honours. 

The 15th Edition of Cement Expo and Conference and the 9th Indian Cement Review Awards, held at Yashobhoomi Convention Centre, New Delhi, on 12th and 13th November, hosted over 100 exhibitors and welcomed 3,000+ business visitors, including CXOs, plant heads, technology leaders, procurement heads, government officials and major contractors and developers. This year, the Expo also played host to the MultiLogistix Conference and Awards.

The conferences explored two powerful themes of decarbonisation in the cement sector and innovation in logistics. The cement industry experts shared insights on policy, market synergies and technological pathways that are aiding low-carbon, efficient, and sustainable construction; while the logistics experts debated on building smarter, more sustainable supply chains, integrating ports, rail, road and air freight and driving digital transformation. Both the conferences had an impressive line-up of speakers, which brought a 360-degree perspective to the panel discussions. 

The conference started with the VIP guests participating in the lamp lighting and ribbon cutting ceremonies. Indian Cement Review Awards 2025

The ninth edition of the Indian Cement Review Awards, popularly known as the Oscars of cement industry, celebrated achievements in wealth creation, growth and individual contribution. The ceremonial lamp lighting was initiated by Deepak Shetty, Former Director General Shipping; Sanjay Bhatia, Upalokayukta, Govt of Maharashtra, Chairman of MultiLogistix Committee; Sumit Banerjee, Director, JSW Cement and Former MD, ACC; Dr Sharmila Amin, MD, South Asia India, Bertling Logistics India; Arif Azal Siddiqui, Founder & Managing Director, Coign Consulting, along with Pratap Padode, President, FIRST Construction Council; and Falguni Padode, Group Managing Editor, ASAPP Info Global Group. Thereafter, Pratap Padode gave the welcome address and Tanveer Padode, CEO, IMPACCT.info, CIO, ASAPP Info Global Group, and Director, FIRST Infocentre, made a presentation on IMPACCT, an AI infused project intelligence platform.

The honourable jury members were invited on the stage as they were recognised for their unbiased analysis of the award contenders. They unveiled the Indian Cement Review Annual Issue 2026, which was later distributed amongst the audience, too. 

What followed was an evening of celebration as top ranking cement companies were recognised for their efforts in increasing revenue and production as well as sustainability. 

The evening’s most prominent recognition, the ICR Person of the Year 2025, was conferred jointly on Dr Raghavpat Singhania, Managing Director; and Madhavkrishna Singhania, Joint Managing Director and CEO, JK Cement. The latter received the award and through his speech inspired industry stakeholders to make tangible efforts in achieving Net Zero goals. 

A sentimental moment worth remembering was created when the winner of the ICR Lifetime Achievement Award Dr Shailendra Chouksey, Former Director of JK Lakshmi Cement and Past President of the Cement Manufacturers’ Association, stepped on the stage to receive the award and invited his family to join him.

The Awards ceremony concluded, as did the two-day marathon of ideas and innovations, with a strengthened resolve amongst the industry stakeholders to achieve Net Zero goals.
