Godrej Material Handling is preparing for a range expansions for its unique intra-logistic, mobility-cumtransport solution, Godrej SKUtro.

Launched last year, SKUtro is a manual rider equipment used for transporting loads from one point to another within a shopfloor.

With two subdued quarters owing to the extension of lockdown and the staggered easing of restrictions, India Inc is expected to make an aggressive push to fulfill the pent-up demand in the remaining two quarters of the fiscal year. Among others, retail, pharmaceutical and FMCG sectors are expected to adopt rapid shopfloor mechanisation and automation, as well as plug productivity gaps to mitigate the loss of market share and capture back the share of wallet.
